Mac Newbie questions

#1

So I got my Bean and seems to be pretty solid, but I have some questions.

And let me preface this with I am a Mac User.

First off, what do people use for slicing? Tried the SLAcer but it only slices one layer and stops. Tried ChiTuBox but the Bean seems to print the layers out of order (is this because CTB numbers the layers 1, 2, 3 vs 0001, 0002, 0003?). If I do a batch renumber, the print dialog gives an error says there are no layers but there are correct number of .png files in the folder. Could it be the way Macs make a zip file?

I do see there is Kudo Job print software but it is Windows only so I have no clue what it does. Right now I only have the Kudo3D.local to work with and there does not seem to be a lot of documentation on how that works or how to tweek it.

Thanks in advance…

I switched to ChiTu for slicing, SLAcer didn’t work well for me either. Create the zip file with ChiTu, then open the zip and rename the png files as you’ve done, THEN create a new zip with only those pngs in the root of the zip file. Now Bean will recognize the number of layers.

Thank you, that worked.
